Honda is coming out with hybrid cars starting early next year that will cost about $1,900 more than comparable gas-only models.

Even with the price of gas nearing $4 a gallon, early indications suggest consumers are not yet warming to industry’s first full-size hybrid gas-and-electric-powered SUVs.
